Walked home in a thunderstorm. CrackBAM. I love thunderstorms.

Also, feeling somewhat pathetic – I have to look up Detroit on Wikipedia, because I have a character from there (based on a real person with her photo in the newspaper) and I have no idea what it's like. *will be more worldly eventually*

...Has anyone been to Detroit, perchance? Because I'd like a more atmospheric description than what you can get from Wikipedia...

Do not feel pathetic. Research is awesome, and it makes you super awesome for going out there and making it. Seriously, that's what makes the difference between mediocre stories, and the truly awesome ones.

I'm asking some of my midwest friends, but don't count on it. I've flown over it... once XD You could try looking people up from there on Myspace or LJ

I meant more that I feel pathetic for having no idea what Detroit is like. :P I sort of knew that they make a lot of cars there, but that was pretty much it.
