BEST THING EVER.

Maybe I'm just out of it today, but I came across it somehow and now I can't stop giggling hysterically.

I'm tempted to 'bwahahaha' hysterically.

Okay, so I did.

So I still am. Just drop it. :P

Also, just placed 'Ocian in view, O the joy!'

It's what Lewis wrote in his journal when he approached the Pacific. Lewis and Clark was my SuperQuiz topic in eighth grade.

I learned it. :P

Close! It's what Clark wrote! Lewis wasn't writing for some mysterious reason.

I love Lewis and Clark. :P What's a SuperQuiz?

Okay, so there's this yearly Pentathlon - a five subject academic competition - in seventh and eight grade in Texas, and the five subjects are writing, math, science, superquiz, and Texas History. I was pretty freaking awesome at all of them, but superquiz was my specialty.

The superquiz test was just five questions over a 40 page pamphlet chock full of information. They could be from anywhere - though there were usually certain ranges for the grading difficulty levels; I was in the middle, which meant I had almost the entire book (I'm in the middle because I hate school) - so you really had to know the entire book. Having both an awesome memory and being a speedreader, that was my specialty.

I got all five questions both years. >_>;

Also, I gold'd in six areas one year and five the next. There are seven total - overall team and overall individual are the non-subject ones. I got silver for my seventh medal the first year, and two bronzes the second year.

Basically, I ker-smashed the state records. Whee! ^_^;

-- and that is a very long, unneeded explanation. Yay!
